Minister ARNETTA STOCKTON- MONDESTIN, 60, of Hamilton, NJ, departed this life on January 31, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Hamilton Twp., NJ.

Born in Trenton, NJ, Arnetta was a long- life resident of the area. After receiving her early education in Hamilton Township Public Schools, she attended Mercer County Community College, Trenton State College, Westminister Choir College, and Trenton Conservatory of Music. She also earned a certificate in IBM Computer Programming. Arnetta was an educator for the Juvenile Justice Commission with the State of NJ.

Arnetta was an associate minister at St. Phillips Baptist Church, where she was active in the Y.E.S. Youth Ministry. She was also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.

Arnetta is survived by her parents, Betty Lee and Clarence Stockton Sr.; two sons, Gelin and Jason; six grandchildren, Sarah, Desmond, Vanessa, Navaeh, Aiden, Gelin, Jalen, Xavier and Alanis; brother, Clarence Stockton, Jr. (Tawanna); sister, Elise Stockton- Grimes; two aunts, Corrine Brewer and Marie Gore; two nieces and five nephews, Brittany, Caila, Jordan, Alex, Jarod, Jaren and Michael; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. at St. Phillips Baptist Church, 445 Parkinson Ave., Hamilton, NJ 08610. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton, campbellfc.com.
