KATHLEEN A. QUINN LYNCH of Newtown, PA

Kathy Lynch, 58, of Newtown, Pennsylvania, passed away with her loving family by her side, on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, after a five-year battle with cancer.

Born in Trenton, New Jersey, she resided in Newtown for the past seventeen years.

Kathy, along with her husband Bill Lynch, owned and operated Makefield Agency, Inc., in Yardley, Pennsylvania, for the past thirty-two years.  Kathy was an avid quilter and cherished her membership in the Birds of a Feather Quilting Guild. She also was an active member of Soroptimist International of Indian Rock in Newtown, where she made life-long friends.  She loved spending time with her family and helping others.

Daughter of the late John J. Quinn; she is survived by her mother, Patricia A. (Meals) Quinn; her beloved husband and daughter, William G. Lynch and Kelly A. Lynch, her future son-in-law, Christopher Montemerlo; her sister and brother-in-law Maura and John Moticha; brother and sister-in law, John and Sade Quinn; sister and brother-in-law Erin and Gabe Schick; brother Robert Quinn and his fiancée Gina Francione; her mother-in-law, Gloria H. Lynch; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara and Pierre Heydacker; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at the Brenna Funeral Home, Immordino Chapel, 1799 Klockner Road, Hamilton, New Jersey.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3710 East State Street Extension, Hamilton, New Jersey.  Burial will follow in Newtown Cemetery, 16 N. Chancellor Street, Newtown, Pennsylvania 18940.

Calling hours for family and friends will be on Tuesday evening, September 12, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Brenna Funeral Home, Immordino Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Soroptimist International of Indian Rock, Inc., P.O. Box 1061, Newtown, Pennsylvania 18940.
