PHILADELPHIA - Lorraine J. Centino (nee Gargus), 50, passed away March 3, 2010, at the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Philadelphia, PA, with her loving family by her side. Born in Trenton, she grew up there until moving to Manville and then settled in Piscataway in 1985. Lorraine was employed with UPS in Bridgewater. She loved gardening and decorating her home, but being a mom was her most cherished role. Lorraine was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Sidney and Edna Spurdens, and by her mother-in-law, Lucy Centino. Surviving are her loving husband of 30 years, Salvatore Centino; her sons, Salvatore Centino and Samuel Centino, all of Piscataway; her mother, Joan Gargus Lackie of Mercerville; her father, George Gargus of Gettysburg; her sisters, Karen Turgyan and her husband, Joseph, of Mercerville and Linda Calehuff and her husband, Robert, of Mercerville; her brother, Steven Gargus and his wife, Valarie of Mount Laurel; her father-in-law, Salvatore Centino of Manville; her sister-in-law, Deborah Scavuzzo of Manville; her nieces and nephews, Jill Wolak, Joseph Turgyan, Robert Calehuff, Lindsay Calehuff, Christine Gargus and Rachel Yanvary; her great-nieces, Adeline, Isabella and Sadie and her dear friends, Ed and Teresa Carr. Visitation hours will be Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854 and Tuesday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. at the New Durham Chapel, 225 New Durham Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854. Funeral services will start at 11 a.m. at the church. Committal will be private. In lieu of flowers, Lorraine's family asks that memorial contributions be made in honor of her to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 2141 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 7000, El Segundo, CA 90245
