DAVID PAUL ELLIS of Jacksonville, Florida
David Paul Ellis, 42, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, in Jacksonville.
Mr. Ellis was born Sept. 14, 1958, in Biloxi and graduated in 1977 from Hamilton High West in Trenton, N.J. He was employed as a bank carrier for New Jersey National Bank in Trenton, as a car detailer for Cahill Chevrolet and a tandem dump truck driver for George Harms Trucking in Trenton. He was an Army veteran of the Persian Gulf War. He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Trenton and a former member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Biloxi.
Survivors include his wife, Bernadette Davis Ellis; a daughter, Alicia Chanel Ellis Whitmore; a son, David Durrell Ellis, all of Jacksonville; his parents, Mary W. Wright Ellis and Aubrey V. Ellis, both of Biloxi; six sisters, Helen Williams of Willingboro, N.J., Eleanor Blackwell of Trenton, Beverly Ellis of Pleasantville, N.J., Janice Ellis Davis of Tucson, Ariz., Barbara Ellis of Houston, Texas, and Khorlette Ellis of Biloxi; two brothers, Aubrey Ellis Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, and Anthony Ellis of Williamstown, N.J.; and a grandchild.
A service was held at on December 19, 2000 at 11 a.m. at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Biloxi, Mississippi with burial in Biloxi National Cemetery. Richmond Funeral Home in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
